Pull Shapes!

I had to animate some random abstract shapes on Flash for a freelance job. And since most of the time we're animating characters over at the studio, I thought it would be kind of a dull task. Well, it actually was pretty damn fun. You spend pretty much zero time thinking about the drawing itself, and focus solely on timing and shapes and whatnot. It's a neat exercise.

So, this is not the actual finished job. These shapes are going to be composited into a video. This is just me getting some of the work I've done and putting them together just for fun. It's not in any sort of order or nothing.

And that's about it. Have a good day, folks.

By the way, I just hate how both the H.264 filter and Youtube make everything washed up. Urgh.

Wow that looks like a lot of fun, I wish I was a shape. Nice job on the animation.

Have you tried uploading it to Vimeo?

Cheers

Onno: thanks a bunch for the comment. I haven't tried Vimeo myself. But I do know the picture quality and overall presentation are way better. But, you know, old habits...

Debbie: you know how to do this. It's just Flash and After Effects. And las time I checked, you were way more skilled than me in After Effects. You silly lady.
