Black Thin King

Like I said before, I've working for the past months in this really nifty animation studio called Birdo. It's full of nice, talented people and it's been a jolly good experience so far.

And I've been lucky enough to get on board just in time to do some work in this really cool and offbeat commercial for Black Thinking. I had the opportunity to do a little of animation, a bunch of assisting and a bit of the additional designs. It was a big chance to learn and just have some good ol' fun.

It was directed by Cisma, most of the animation was done by Paulo Muppet and the character design is by Rafael Grampá. Well, the credits are down there too.

Cheers.

For the love of cliche

Oh, the wonderful world of advertising.

A lot of it deals with cliches. You know, the spunky skateboard-riding kid, the nature-loving healthy girl, the nerdy kid and the cool guy with the fake street "tude" and the arched eyebrow.

Sometimes, you're the guy who draws it.
